Jiangcun Bridge

Jiangcun bridge is located in Fengqiao scenic area of Suzhou. It is a single hole stone arch bridge. It was built in Tang Dynasty. In 1707, it was rebuilt by Cheng Wenhuan, a local, and rebuilt in 1867. The arch bridge is located to the south in front of the Zhaobi of Hanshan Temple. In 1984, the Suzhou municipal government allocated funds for renovation, and there is a record of rebuilding Jiangcun bridge.

Current situation of cultural relics

There is a north-south approach bridge at Dongtu of Jiangcun bridge, with 9 stone steps in the South and 10 stone steps in the north, 2.1 meters wide, 25 stone steps up to the top, 38.7 meters long; the bridge deck is 2.4 meters wide, 2.88 meters long; beitu is 33 stone steps directly, 3 meters wide at the bottom. The stone bridge is sealed with bricks. It looks at the maple bridge and sleeps with sorrow; it goes up the stairs and hears the clock and the wind.
