Dishuiyan scenic spot is located at the foot of Donggong mountain, 30km southwest of Zhouning County, Fujian Province. It is as famous as the simple and elegant Liyu River and the majestic Jiulongji waterfall group. Its name is recorded in Cihai. The tablet inscribed by the ancients said "the first scene of Bamin". It is close to the core area of Yuanyang River, a national nature reserve. It is adjacent to Zhenghe, Pingnan and Ningde by chaxi and Baishuiyang River in the upper reaches of Huotong river. With undulating mountains, dense streams and beautiful scenery, it has become an important part of the Huotong River Tourism Scenic Belt in eastern Fujian.

Historical evolution

Dishuiyan is located in limen Township, Zhouning County, Ningde City, Fujian Province. It was discovered by Li ruisan, a member of Shiben village, in 1066 A.D., and was established as a Buddhist land by Shiben people. It was built in 1452, and rebuilt in 1631, 1880 and 1898. The main hall is built in the rock cave (lion cave). It sits in the north and south, with three deep rooms. It has a wooden frame with a bucket. In the hall, the bucket arches are stacked into octagonal caissons. It was announced as a county-level cultural relics protection unit in 1983.

Shimen mountain is located in the east of Dishuiyan, behind louping village, Lidun town. It is one of the top ten scenic spots in Zhouning county. The surrounding mountains are rugged and straight, stretching 3 kilometers from east to west. In the middle of the mountain, the rock peaks split into two big stone mountains, facing each other, magnificent and magnificent. The two stones are more than 80 meters above the ground, separated by more than 100 meters. The stone wall is like a stone gate, so it is called Shimen mountain. The scenic spot has unique peaks and secluded caves, mainly stone scenery, including Laojun rock, Shamao rock, Luoyan, Qishan, Tianluo cave, etc. It is said that the stone gate opens in the day and closes in the night. Nearby Diyan, Qincun waterfall, jiukesong and other places also have charming scenery.

Human history

Lidun, the middle point between Shimen mountain and Dishuiyan, is a market town inhabited by Li people. The word "Li" is closely related to the famous Tang Dynasty in Chinese history. In the fifth year of Tianyu (909 A.D.) at the end of Tang Dynasty, Li Jing, the king of Yue (the 14th grandson of Li Yuan, Emperor Gaozu of Tang Dynasty), found out that there was going to be a great disturbance. He avoided disaster and went to Fujian. After a long journey, he settled in Lidun Longtou. Today, there are still relics such as imperial edicts of the emperor and "King's birthplace". At the end of 1997, Li's descendants also launched a large-scale, magnificent and towering Yuewang Palace (ancestral temple), covering an area of about 1500 square meters and a construction area of more than 600 square meters, which has become a tourist attraction.

From Lidun to Dishuiyan, we pass Gongchuan, an ancient cultural village. The Chen Clan in the village originates from Yingchuan, Henan Province. The genealogy can be traced back to Emperor Shun more than 4000 years ago. The plaque of the ancestral hall was inscribed by Chen Lifu, a veteran of the Kuomintang, when he was 100 years old. The Zhenwen bridge beside the village was originally built in the Qing Dynasty. It is simple and simple, just like a rainbow across the road. Both the ancestral hall and the bridge are worth seeing.

Dishui rock, formerly known as Xiansheng rock, is more than 300 meters wide and 200 meters high. It looks like a giant lion lying on its back. It is majestic and can be compared with shaibu rock in Wuyishan Tianyou scenic spot. As early as the third year of Zhiping in the Northern Song Dynasty (1066 AD), Dishuiyan was discovered by villagers and turned into a Buddhist site. More than 900 years ago, it was rebuilt several times in the Ming and Qing dynasties after several fires. On the top of Shikou cave, which is half a waist above the cliff, there are several Rock Springs, which look like bead curtains. When visitors enter the cave, they have to take a bath, so it is called "Dishui rock".

Historical records

The main scenic spots are Shikou cave, left and right Shier cave, Daxiong hall, AoMiao cave, Papi waterfall, centipede crossing hill, yiyitian cave, Yongyun cave and other scenic spots. The water is like a pearl curtain, and the lake reflects the mountain scenery. In the 27th year of the Republic of China, zhoudun District annals recorded: "Huxi bridge, Lingyan well, zuijingtang; Luohan cave, natural pool, dizhu curtain; Xuliang Pavilion, Jinlu peak, shifutu, together with benyan, are ten wonders." Wei jingzhongyou's xianshengyan poem, a Jinshi and chief editor of the National History Museum in Jiaqing period of the Qing Dynasty, said: "the tower is misty, the entrance is deep under the bead curtain; the sky opens, the wall is full of spirits, and the road turns to the stream bridge, and the visitors are alone." In the 32nd year of the reign of Emperor Guangxu of the Qing Dynasty, Liang Zhaoxi, the county magistrate, visited xianshengyan and wrote a poem: "Lingyan is empty, the top of the cave is stone, water embraces the mountain, and there is a different sky; where is Daoan's birthday? There are mangroves and white clouds in a forest." It vividly depicts the green water, green mountains, strange peaks and caves around Dishuiyan. There are also legends about Pipa fairy and centipede, jiangjunyan, baoerya and so on.

After visiting Dishuiyan, you can walk down the stone steps from the western mountain pass and enter the valley. Look around, but see the mountains surging ups and downs, magnificent. Walking along the thousands of meter long Yangchang trail, the stream is murmuring, the mountains are full of exotic flowers and plants, the terraced fields on the Half Moon Bay are green, and the vast reeds like white clouds remind tourists of their reverie. "The quieter the forest is, the quieter the mountain is.". The quiet environment and pleasant scenery in the valley often make visitors forget to return. After walking along Yangchang Road, you suddenly see a mountain prairie that can accommodate tens of thousands of people. Surrounded by mountains, two streams converge here and flow to the Jiulong grottoes.

The water from the mountain is clear and clean, sweet and mellow. Many tourists pour the mineral water from the bottle and drink it from the rock spring in Shengxi. The Bank of the stream is covered with dense bamboos. Looking around, you can see that there are many kinds of scenery nearby, the sky is far away, and the mountains are full of Dai, which makes you feel relaxed and happy. I think Tao Yuanming's peach blossom garden is just like this. The surrounding mountains are dotted with strange rocks and rocks, such as "water coral", "ape watching the moon" and "peacock opening the screen". In particular, the majestic and straight "root of life" is far away from the "gate of life" in the lower reaches of the river, just like a perfect match made in heaven. Walking along the stream, the stone walls on both sides stand in vain, as high as 100 Zhang, and the width in the middle is less than 10 meters. When people walk among them, they can only see the withered vines dangling between the cliffs, the gurgling water, and the lush woods and bamboos. It's really "the God of fortune".

Jiulong Grottoes

A whirling stone on the cliff on both sides is like a mountain gate of the cave house. The front is the cave group of Kowloon cave. It is one of the most beautiful parts of the scenic area. It has dozens of stone holes, large enough to accommodate hundreds of people, small as a dwelling, and holes in the cave, confusing. There are rootless maple trees, big and small stone balls set on the cliff, full of shrubs and flowers, just like two large bonsai. Through the caves, you can take the bamboo rafts supported by the villagers to pass through the pool under the cave. Through the cracks of the rocks, you can see that the water is as clear as jade. The exit is the "gate of life" of wonderful scenery.

Panlong River

The following is the scenic spot called "Panlong River" by the villagers. The mountain stream winds down for several miles. There are lots of waterfalls and dense pools. However, Panlong waterfall empties directly and is majestic. Baili waterfall is full of pearls, gurgling water and curtain waterfall splashing jade. It is dotted with marvelous scenery such as Wenwu tree, fairy bath and ivy. In Xishan village, the dining place, visitors can enjoy the big houses with turrets built by the gentry in the past and taste the farmhouse meals with strong local characteristics, which is worthy of their visit.

Cuiping Lake

Located in the eastern suburb of Gutian County, the "back garden" of Fuzhou, the capital of Fujian Province, it is 3km away from the city and 2 hours' drive away from Fuzhou. In 1958, the state built Gutianxi hydropower station, the key project of the first five year plan and the first underground hydropower station in China. A 412m long and 71m high dam was built to store water. The old town of Gutian, which has a history of more than 1000 years, was inundated, forming the largest artificial freshwater lake in Fujian with a water area of 37.1 square kilometers and a water storage capacity of 641 million cubic meters.
