Dasugan Lake Nature Reserve is located in the south of Akesai Kazak Autonomous County, Gansu Province, about 80 kilometers away from the county. Dasugan lake is located in the northwest end of seletun (Haizi) grassland of huahaizi suganhu basin between Altun mountain, danghenan mountain and Saishiteng mountain, which is the lowest part of the basin. With an altitude of 2795-2808 meters and a water area of 100.89 square kilometers, it is a salt lake. There is no room and board around.

Dasugan Lake Nature Reserve is located in the south of Akesai Kazakh Autonomous County, Gansu Province, about 80 km away from the county seat. It covers an area of 35 square kilometers, 93 degrees 46-94 degrees 01 east longitude and 38 degrees 51-38 degrees 55 north latitude. Dasugan lake is located in the northwest end of seletun (Haizi) grassland of huahaizi suganhu basin between Altun mountain, danghenan mountain and Saishiteng mountain, which is the lowest part of the basin. With an altitude of 2795-2808 meters and a water area of 100.89 square kilometers, it is a salt lake. The average water depth is 2.84m, with 172 million cubic meters of water storage. The climate of this area belongs to inland alpine and semi-arid climate.
