Nianhua temple in Beijing

Nianhua temple in Xicheng District is a municipal cultural relics protection unit. It was built in the ninth year of Wanli in the Ming Dynasty (1581). In the thousand Buddha Pavilion of the temple, there is a bronze Buddha "the lotus treasure thousand Buddha of Pilu", which was cast in the Ming Dynasty. It is like a lotus. There are thousands of Buddhas circling on the thousands of lotus flowers around the Buddha seat, so it is called the thousand Buddha Temple of protecting the country and repaying kindness. Qing Yongzheng 12 years (1734) rebuilt, name Nianhua temple.
