Heilongjiang College of Traditional Chinese Medicine

In 1954, Heilongjiang Province established a school for further study of traditional Chinese medicine.

In 1956, Mudanjiang health school was established.

At the beginning of 1958, Heilongjiang traditional Chinese medicine school and Mudanjiang health school merged to establish Heilongjiang traditional Chinese medicine school.

In March 1959, Heilongjiang traditional Chinese medicine school, Harbin first health school, Heilongjiang Institute of traditional Chinese medicine and Heilongjiang Provincial Hospital merged to establish Heilongjiang health cadre training college, which is located in Qibing street, Xiangfang District. In July, the CPC Heilongjiang Provincial Committee approved Heilongjiang health cadres training college to recruit undergraduates of traditional Chinese medicine in the name of Heilongjiang College of traditional Chinese medicine, with a six-year schooling. On September 13, Heilongjiang College of traditional Chinese medicine was officially established and held the opening ceremony.

In August 1962, the College moved from Qibing street in Xiangfang District to the east end of Gongbin road in Xiangfang District.
