Chengdu new century global center

The new century global center is a major project to build a modern garden city in the world determined by the governments of Sichuan Province and Chengdu City. The main building takes "flowing melody" as the design concept and is the largest single building in the world. Chengdu new century global center is located at No. 1700, north section of Tianfu Avenue, high tech Zone, Chengdu. It is on the inner side of the ring expressway, close to the highway, and in the core area of the southward development of the center of Chengdu. The new century global center covers an area of about 1300 mu, with a total construction area of about 1.76 million square meters. The main plane size is about 500 meters × 400 meters, and the main height is about 100 meters. It is a multi-functional building integrating entertainment, exhibition, business, media, shopping and hotel, which is composed of the central recreation area and surrounding Hotel, business, office and other parts. After completion, it will become a paradise for entertainment, shopping, leisure and food in Chengdu.

Jincheng Square: covering an area of 800 mu, it is composed of dream music fountains and roadside fountains. There are 17 kinds of fountain theme styles, rich and colorful water design, including magnificent "asking the sky"; cheerful "waves"; majestic "water dance world"; luxurious and elegant "in the mood for love". The music fountain control adopts the international standard music computer (water ballet) high-tech system. The equipment (lights, pumps, valves, motors, frequency converters) and music signals can be accurately synchronized. The water type of the fountain changes with the melody of the music, so that the music connotation can be perfectly expressed through the change of water type.

Project introduction

The new century global center is the largest single building in the world. The main building takes "flowing melody" as the design concept; the building takes "ocean" as the design theme; the architectural form of "flying seagulls, floating whales, undulating waves" is derived; the entertainment and leisure mode of inland city "sea scenery island" is created. The total construction area of the project is about 1.76 million square meters, the above ground construction area is about 1.176 million square meters, and the underground area is about 584000 square meters. The construction is divided into two phases.

The first phase of the project, the east central area of new century global center, Central Plaza, Central Park, underground commercial plaza and parking lot, has a total construction area of about 1.268 million square meters, a ground construction area of about 784 thousand square meters and an underground area of about 484 thousand square meters, including paradise island ocean amusement park, hotel, entertainment and leisure area, business and office, Central Plaza, Central Park and underground commercial and parking lot.

The second phase of the project is the west area of new century global center, with a total construction area of about 492000 m2, a ground construction area of 392000 m2 and an underground area of about 100000 m2, including commercial, office and underground parking lots.

Project features

The Contemporary Art Center is designed by the world famous architect Zaha Hadid. Its abstract shape, dreamy streamline and irregular geometry build up a strong post-modern flavor of structuralism. The avant-garde shape of the building is an abstract work of art that shakes the vision. It is unforgettable and makes world-class art buildings take root in Chengdu.

Facade style: the main body of the building is sea blue, with transparent glass curtain wall, pure tone decorative components, and white floating plate to connect the undulating building into a whole, giving off a strong flavor of subtropical coastal city.

Project highlights:

(1) The high-tech LED screen with a width of more than 150 meters and a height of about 40 meters projects the image of the sea, extending the sea and sky infinitely, giving people a wonderful feeling of integrating the sea and sky.

(2) It is as vast as the sea, with more than 400 meters of coastline, more than 5000 square meters of beach and nearly 7000 square meters of seaside leisure wood platform, which can accommodate more than 6000 tourists at the same time.
