Yongde Daxueshan scenic spot is located in the northeast of Yongde County, Lincang City, on the West Bank of Lancang, 19 kilometers away from the county. Yongde Snow Mountain is the branch of Nujiang branch and Biluo snow mountain. The mountain ranges from northwest to Southeast, stretching 24 kilometers from north to south, 15.6 kilometers from east to west, with a total area of about 300 square kilometers. The main peak of Yongde Daxue mountain is Daxue mountain, with an altitude of 3429 meters. Xiaoxue mountain is located in the northwest of the main peak, with an altitude of 3177 meters. Honghua mountain is located in the south of the peak, with an altitude of 2723 meters. Gugu mountain is located in the east of the peak, with an altitude of 2843 meters. There are three or four months of snow cover in winter and spring in the area above 3000 meters above sea level.
