Longshan tower

Longshan tower has three buildings of the same name, namely, Longshan tower in Danjiangkou, Hubei, China, Longshan tower in Yazhuang, Vietnam, and Longshan tower in Feicheng, Shandong, China. This meaning introduces the Longshan pagoda at Danjiangkou.

The Longshan pagoda at Danjiangkou was built in the 26th-32nd year of Guangxu reign of the Qing Dynasty (1900-1907). After liberation, it was greatly repaired. It is well preserved and as simple as ever. There are two sources of the name: one is the "dragon neck" of the town to avoid flooding, so it is called "Longshan tower". The other is to revitalize arts and culture. There is a Kuixing tower in Junzhou City, overlooking Longshan tower. Kuixing master holds the pen, sits in Junzhou, and revives WenMen. He will produce a sesame official with a bucket of three liters, so it is called "Wenbi tower".

The Wenbi tower is 11.5 meters high and 6.5 meters in diameter. It is a three story, six sided brick and wood structure building. The top of the tower is pointed, and there are two front and rear doors on the bottom floor (the back door has been sealed). The spiral tower ladder goes directly to the third floor, and there are no windows on the bottom floor. Each wall on the second and third floors has a circular window hole for viewing. The pagoda is now standing high in the vast Danjiangkou Reservoir Area (the source of the middle route of the south to North Water Transfer Project). The scenery of the lake and the mountains are complementary, forming a wonderful and novel landscape painting.

Longshan is one of the eight scenic spots in Junzhou. As an important part of the long Shan misty rain, the long Shan pagoda stands high on the South Bank of the Danjiangkou reservoir. Under the water is the ancient city of qianganzhou, witnessing the stormy history of the construction of the middle route of the south to North Water Diversion Project.
