Daze Co, also known as dakci lake and dageji Co, means huding Lake in Tibetan. It is located in a faulted basin in NIMA County, Naqu Prefecture, Tibet. It is located in the north of Qiangtang plateau at 31 ° 49 ~ 31 ° 59 north latitude and 87 ° 25 ~ 81 ° 39 east longitude.

Daze CuO is 21.1 km long, 16.9 km wide at most, 11.60 km wide on average, and covers an area of 244.7 square kilometers. The lake is 4459 meters above sea level, 31.7 meters deep, blue and 7.2 meters transparent. The terrain on the East and West banks is gentle and open, while the mountains on the north and south banks are steep. There are many obvious concentric ancient dikes distributed on the lake bank, the highest one is 90 meters higher than the current lake surface, which shows that daze CuO was in the ice age, and its area and water depth are far greater than the current.

climate

Dazeco is located in the arid and cold northern Qiangtang, with an average annual temperature of 0 ~ 2.0 degrees and an annual precipitation of only 200 mm. The lake water supply mainly depends on Pocang Zangbu (also known as Mochang Zangbu) and naroqu. Bocang Zangbu, about 200 kilometers long, originates from the snow mountain in the middle of the northern Tibetan Plateau.
