Dawaganza scenic spot is located in gari village, Qiaoqi Tibetan Township, Baoxing County, Ya'an City, Sichuan Province. It covers an area of nearly 50 square kilometers. The highest altitude of Yunding is 3866 meters. It belongs to Qionglai mountains, with high terrain in the north and low terrain in the south. It is known as "the best 360 ° viewing platform in Asia".

Dawaganza means "beautiful holy mountain" in Tibetan. The scenic spot can not only look around Siguniang mountain in the north, pagla holy mountain in the south, Gongga Qunfeng in the west, Emei Mountain in the East, but also enjoy various kinds of landscapes, such as cloud waterfall, cloud sea, Rizhao Jinshan, Buddha light, starry sky, meadow, lake, canyon, Qunfeng, rime, alpine azalea, Tibetan village, etc It is famous for its landscape of spring, Buddha's light, rime, meadow and alpine Azalea.

The main scenic spots are Yunding, Shenxianju, meteor slope, luoxiping, azalea corridor, Xianhai mandao, Chenhai liantai, Dusi garden, jiuwangtai and other famous scenic spots.

Self driving strategy:

Dawagenza travel strategy:

Self driving:

(Expressway + National Highway 351 + provincial highway 210 + Village Road) about 236km

Chengdu, Ya'an, Baoxing County, gari village, Qiaoqi Township, dawagenza peak

(it takes about 3 hours to get to gari village without traffic jam)

Road conditions:

(1) after crossing the bridge, there is a fork about 500m ahead. There is a sign of dawagenza scenic spot. Remember to turn left and go to the gate of the scenic spot by all asphalt road. (as shown in the picture, we should take the road above, because we came up from below)

(2) after gari village, there is a tourist center and parking lot at the mountain gate.

(3) the scenic spot is under development. It is said that it will open in September. You can take the sightseeing car to go up the mountain. The road conditions are very good.

Mountain road conditions:

To tell you the truth, the road here is much better than that of Niubei mountain. The whole journey is asphalt, but the road up the mountain is rather dangerous. The slope is very steep, and some curves have a large slope and range. If you go down the mountain with a disc brake, it's easy to polish the brake pads. You should pay attention to it, and you'd better choose the sightseeing bus provided by the scenic spot.

There is also that all vehicles had better park on gravel road and oil road, never drive into the lawn, in order to prevent sinking. Because we had this problem this time, and it took a lot of effort to push the car out.

Food and housing brocade bag:

In the past, due to the undeveloped area of dawagenza, there was no accommodation or food at the top of the mountain, so tourists had to bring their own camping and road meals. If necessary, you can stay in shenmulei scenic spot or Qiaoqi township at the foot of the mountain. For food, if there is no road food, it is recommended to purchase all the necessary food materials and road food in Baoxing County, including water source. Because there is no drinking water on the mountain, you can choose Baoxing County for lunch and go up the mountain directly after eating.

With the rise of outdoor activities, local Tibetans rent tents and provide breakfast and dinner at the top of the mountain, and can go there light.

Tickets and consumption guide:

1. Ticket price: 60 yuan / person

2. Take the scenic vehicles up the mountain, return 80 yuan / person

3. You can bring your own tent for camping or rent it in the scenic area.

4. The cost of B & B depends on the environment. B & B has Tibetan characteristics.

Camp:

There are about five campsites on the mountain for you to camp on. However, as the platform on the top of dawagenza mountain is small, it is not recommended that you rush to the top of the mountain. You can choose to camp near the top of the mountain. For example, our camp is about 5 kilometers away from the top of the mountain. Due to the freezing road in winter, we can walk for about 2 hours to get to the top of the mountain When walking, pay attention to the side of the mountain.

Tour mode:

You can set out from Chengdu in the morning. Normally, you can reach the top of the mountain in the afternoon (there is shenmulei scenic area around for sightseeing). You can enjoy the sunset on the top of the mountains. You can camp at night and count the stars. The next morning, you can wait for the sunrise of the sun and enjoy the sea of clouds comparable to Niubei mountain. Then you can go down the mountain and return.

Safety issues:

After camping at night, do not run around, because you may camp around the cliffs.
