Longmen stone village is located in Wudalianchi scenic area. The Dun volcano, which erupted in the first stage of the Longmen Mountain 280000-340000 years ago, is rolling down the slope. After the upper part solidifies, the rock flow in the lower part pushes forward and breaks into blocks. After several Longmen Mountain eruptions and the shaking of large earthquakes, a lot of stones and pillars gush up. Some are like birds and beasts, some are like towers and cones. The most magnificent and spectacular is the appearance of ancient buildings It is called Longmen Shizhai because of its stone like high fortress and collapsed ancient city wall. The distance between the big and small shizhais is kilometers, and the total area can reach nearly 50 square kilometers.

Introduction to scenic spots

Longmen Shizhai is located in the east of Wudalianchi World Geopark. More than 900000 years ago, the East and West Longmen Mountains erupted in the woody Wudalianchi area. The rolling magma flowed down the slope like a river, forming a lava landscape with thousands of scenes and unique shapes. After many earthquakes and crustal changes, on a shield shaped lava platform formed in the hillside platform area in the west of the West Longmen Mountain, there are boulders of different sizes, with a diameter of more than 5 meters. At that time, when the magma flowed, it was Longmen Shizhai, which was divided into large and small Longmen Shizhai, with an area of more than 20 square kilometers.

For thousands of years, the ancient Daur hunter has stepped on the "tracing ancient road", with tall dazixiang on both sides and thorn fruit and creeping pine on the roadside. There are wonders everywhere on this road, with scenery step by step, extending all the way to the "ancient castle".

If you stand on the stone platform with a wide perspective and look up at Longmen stone village: on the dark green thoroughfare on the upper left, the huge stones are like rivers and rivers, flowing down the slope, connecting with the clouds in the sky, and the endless sea of stones below. It's like the huge stones in the Tianhe River are flying down. It's magnificent, with thousands of scenes, and it's really destructive. Looking closely at these boulders, we can see that they are all ancient lava, and some of them still have rope like flowing structures on their surfaces. It seems that they have experienced several long-term earthquakes, and the rocks rolled into huge rocks without edges and corners. After hundreds of thousands of years of weathering and erosion, they were covered by lichen moss, forming this wonderful scene.
