Meili ancient town

Taibo, the eldest son of King Tai of the Western Zhou Dynasty, spread the culture of Central Plains to jingman. The kingdom of Wu started from this and became a nation after generations. Both the north and south of the river and the shore of Taihu Lake were guided by Taibo's humility and pioneering spirit, and gradually became a land of dress, ceremony and music. There is still Taibo temple at the entrance.

In the ancient town, there are three old streets, namely Meihua street, meihuabang street and sanrang street, which are connected with silk weaving workshop, agricultural garden and Qin workshop to show the folk customs and customs of Wu area. Meihua and weeping willows are planted along the river bank, which is a vivid landscape of Jiangnan Water town.
