It is located in Guilin street, Zhongshan District, Dalian city. The children's Park, which covers an area of 6.1 hectares, is no longer surrounded by walls. Instead, it is a green lake that can be seen at a glance.

Development history

As early as 1909, the garden was a buffer pool for flood discharge and water storage, which was called "jinggechi". In 1936, the park was built around the pool and named "jinggechi children's Park". After liberation, the park was seriously damaged. In 1951, Dalian Port Authority renovated it and renamed it "Harbor Park". In 1953, Haigang transferred the park to the government and renamed it "Minze Park". In April 1972, the park changed its name to "children's Park", which is still in use today (2020). After smashing the gang of four, the park was expanded and renovated and opened again on June 1, 1981.
