Liu Yong Memorial

Liuyong memorial hall is located in the middle of Wuyi palace ancient street in Wuyishan Scenic Area. It was established by Wuyishan Scenic Area Management Committee and Wuyishan local chronicles Committee after extensive collection of information. It is in memory of Liu Yong, a famous CI poet of Northern Song Dynasty who was born in Wuyishan.

Memorial attractions

Liuyong memorial hall is located in the middle of Wuyi palace ancient street in Wuyi Mountain Scenic Area, on the North Bank of yiquxi river. It is a three story Pavilion style folk architecture imitating Song Dynasty. It covers an area of 300 meters and faces north from south. It has exhibition hall, office, storeroom, tea room and other facilities. The style is simple and elegant, full of local flavor.

The name of Liuyong memorial hall was inscribed by Li Rui, former member of the Central Committee of the CPC and executive vice minister of the central organization department. In front of the gate stands a bronze statue of Liu Yong standing all over. The granite square base is 1.34 meters high, and the front of the base is engraved with a brief introduction of Liu Yong. The bronze statue of Liu Yong is 2.6 meters high. He holds a book in his right hand, holds a fan in his left hand, and wears a cloth robe. He looks at Manting peak and Dawang peak in a graceful and peaceful manner. It seems that he is chanting "a cloud in Wushan" which is a fairy tale.

Walking into the memorial hall, facing the wall is Mao Zedong's huge poem "looking at the tide of the sea" written by Liu Yongjia. There are two exhibition halls, 54 square meters each.

The exhibition hall in the East chamber is the exhibition hall of "Liu Yong's life". It is divided into eight parts: scholarly family, happy childhood, wasted youth, frustrated officialdom, wandering, painstakingly chanting to become famous, movement handed down from generation to generation, beautiful and well received Liu Ci, Mao Zedong's comments on Liu Ci, and eternal movement handed down to future generations. The exhibition consists of 23 sections, a large number of pictures and concise words The great influence of Liu Yong's life and his ci poetry and the high evaluation of his ci poetry by later generations.

The Xixiang exhibition hall is a "Liu CI calligraphy and painting" hall, displaying more than 30 paintings and calligraphy about Liu Yong. The Exhibition cabinets and cabinets in the two exhibition halls display books and paintings related to Liu Ci at all times and in all over the world, including bijimanzhi, nengezhaimanlu, Ci of famous poets in song and Yuan Dynasties, Mo Bao of Mao Zedong's handwritten poetry of the past dynasties, Qingming Shanghe Tu, etc.

The back hall of the memorial hall is a 34 square meter museum of Liu's Ci Poems "a cloud in Wushan" and "the song of boiling the sea", with 11 Ci poems and CI paintings on display. The third floor of CI Yi painting hall is a tea tasting room, where you can see the Jiuqu Qingxi River, the jade girl, the king, the Manting, the iron plate, the Lema and the Lion Peak rocks. It is elegant and intoxicating to enjoy the scenery and tea. The memorial hall is separated by a small bamboo forest and Jiuqu River, which is a good place for tourists to enjoy tea and tea ceremony.
