Baishitou is located at the north foot of kallik snow mountain, the main peak of Tianshan Mountain in the east of Xinjiang, about 2 km east of koumenzi, and about 70 km away from Hami City. Between the green grassland and the dense pine forest, there is a white boulder the size of a cow.

There is also a magical legend about the origin of white stone. A long time ago, there lived a nomadic tribe here. The beautiful princess Betty, the daughter of the tribal chief, fell in love with the handsome shepherd Yanqin. They loved each other and often dated at the edge of the pine forest. Every time after the meeting, Yanqin would break a pine branch and bring it back to her. Their sincere love made a demon in the sky feel very jealous. One day, the demon dropped a lot of locusts. In an instant, the forest withered and the green grass died. Bessie couldn't see the green. His worried eyebrows were locked and depressed. Yanqin decided to relieve his sweetheart's worries. He clasped his arms on the trunk and kept shaking, praying for the pine tree to be green again and make his Bessie smile again Rong, shaking, his clothes were cut, and his arms were bleeding. Yanqin was very happy to see that the pine trees turned green. He forgot the fatigue and pain, and hugged all the pine trees with his bleeding arms. All the pine trees he had hugged turned green. But when all the pine trees turned green, Yanqin was exhausted and fell down. After hearing the news, Betty came to hold the corpse and cried. Her tears poured out I don't know how long I cried when I went to the earth. When my tears dried up, I fell down beside Yanqin and died. People buried them together in the grass beside the pine trees. Soon after, two white stones grew up in the place where they were buried together. White stone is the homonym of Bertie.

There are many ancient temples and cultural sites in baishitou scenic spot. The ruins of the ancient temple include the Tianshan Temple (Guandi Temple), and the ancient cultural relics include the Tianshan Tang stele, which is located more than 30 steps to the east of the Tianshan temple.
