Naomao Lake

Naomao lake is located 73 kilometers north of Yiwu County in Hami area of Xinjiang. It is located in the north corner of Yiwu County in Hami area of Xinjiang. It is in the depth of the vast Gobi and borders Mongolia in the north and East.

Composition and structure

Naomao lake has a world-famous Populus euphratica forest of 470000 mu. Rivers and water bodies in Yiwu county form their own system. There are no rivers flowing out or flowing into water bodies. The main surface runoff in the county is 27 rivers, most of which are seasonal rivers. There are three rivers with large annual runoff: Yiwu River, turgangou River (Yanchi area) and sidaobaiyanggou River (naomao Lake area).

Yiwu River is the only constant flow river in Hami region and even the whole eastern Xinjiang. The average annual resource of surface water in Yiwu River is 702.5 million cubic meters. The river water flows from south to North and irrigates the mining area and surrounding farmland through artificial channels and natural valleys in Naomaohu Town, forming a seasonal runoff from east to West in the area. Finally, a small lake is formed in the low-lying areas of the east of exploration line 29 and the west of exploration line 25 in yinggekule exploration area. In winter and summer, the water storage of the lake is less, while in spring and autumn, the water storage is larger. Among them, Lake yinggekule has water all year round, and the rest is dry in autumn and winter.

Sidaobaiyanggou originates from moqinwula mountain, with an average surface water resource of 071.8 million cubic meters.

The power grid of Yiwu County covers four townships and three towns in the whole county, and is output by 220kV Shanbei substation and 110kV Machang substation of Hami power supply company. There are 6 35kV substations, 1 110kV substation and 1 220kV substation in the county. The total capacity of main transformer is 1844.4mva.

The amount of surface water resources that can be used by Maohu coal power industry in yiwunao is 30 million M / A, including 25 million M / A from Xiagou reservoir and 5 million M / A from sidaobaiyanggou reservoir.

According to the mine geological exploration report, the total normal water inflow of each mine is estimated to be 27.61 million M / A, and the total water inflow available for use of each mine is 13.8 million M / a after taking 0.5 reduction factor as water resources.

To sum up, the total amount of industrial available water resources in this area is 43.8 million M / A, including 30 million M / a of surface water and 13.8 million M / a of mine drainage reuse.
