The wooden archway is located in the scenic area of Chongyang palace in Xinchang. The book "the door of the wonderful" on the front of the wooden arch was written by Mr. Kang Youwei, a famous scholar and great calligrapher in China. It comes from the last sentence of the first chapter of Tao Te Ching, which means that "props have endless mysterious functions of natural creation, and are the general way to understand the origin of all things in the universe and their eternal movement and change."
Introduction to scenic spots
The banner on the back of the book "the best is like water" was written by master Hongyi, the founder of many kinds of modern art in China. It comes from the eighth chapter of Tao Te Ching that "the best is like water, and water is good at benefiting all things but does not fight", which means that "the most perfect and noble moral character, like water, is good at moistening all things, but does not fight for personal interests with all things. In this way, the virtue of water is very close to the virtue of Dao.
