Dragon diving giant water, auspicious high sky. Four hundred years ago, Professor Dong wrote a poem that vividly described the geographical and cultural landscape of tianlongtan from ancient times to modern times.

Tianlongtan natural scenic spot is 7km away from Nankou town of Changping, with Longtan Village as the center, surrounded by Xiangtan reservoir, Longtan Reservoir, Longtan villa, Longtan Park and 3000 mu of virgin forest. The scenery here is pleasant all year round. In early spring and February, the sun is bright and a hundred flowers are blooming; in summer, the sun is covered with shade, the pines are windy and the waves are blue; in autumn, the mountains are red and the fruits are fragrant; in winter, the snow is white and the scenery of northern China is beautiful. Tianlongtan natural scenic spot is located in the northwest of Longtan Village, Nankou Town, Changping District, at the intersection of Jundu mountain and Yanshan mountain, belonging to glacial landform. It is 2km away from Nankou town in the East, 4km away from Juyongguan town in the north and 10km away from Changping Town in the East.

Here, the steep cliff, open valley bottom, shaped like U word, it is also known as the valley. Due to the changes of the earth's crust, Wolong mountain behind the village is like three giant dragons lining up in a row. Three flying red dragons naturally composed of fiery red rocks are roaring and galloping like real dragons. They are lifelike and meandering across the peaks, just like uncanny craftsmanship. In particular, one of the Dragon probes into the pool to absorb water, which is even more impressive. Hence the name of Tianlong lake.

The spring water converges into a pool at the foot of the mountain, which is called tianlongtan. The pool is divided into upper pool, lower pool, dragon toilet and dragon trough. The pond water intercepted by the stone dam forms a natural fish pond. It's fun to fish in the mountains. Ten thousand mu mountain farm in the south of the village is lush after ten years of greening. Hundreds of acres of apple orchards, peach orchards and apricot orchards in the village have pleasant aroma, attracting bees and butterflies, and even more wild and rustic.
