Picket house

Jiaochafu is located in the center of Sanqingshan sanqingfudi scenic spot, a world natural heritage and a national key scenic spot in China. It is a Ming Dynasty building in front of the north side of the "bamboo house of zhanbiyun in Meizhi mountain" and one meter in front of the "juegang" stone carving. It is named because of the inscription of "jiaochafu" on the forehead.

The layout and setting of jiaochafu is not found in other famous Taoist mountains in China, and its construction is unique to Sanqing mountain.

Architectural features

Jiaochafu is a miniature stone palace. According to Taoism, Wang Lingguan was originally the God of jade pivot fire. Later, he was worshipped as the God of guarding the law and guarding the road. He was responsible for the inspection of heaven and the world. It is reasonable that Wang Lingguan should be worshipped in the "inspection house". However, it is not Wang Lingguan who is worshiped in the "jichafu", but six stone statues dressed in Ming Dynasty civilian costumes, with a pair of warrior guards standing at the door. It seems to be a symbol of the rank and noble government yamen, rather than a small temple for Bodhisattvas. Furthermore, from the perspective of its name, the temple for God is not called Jicha temple, but Jicha house. "Picketing" is to report procuratorial cases and impeach officials for negligence. In ancient times, "Fu" was the place where the state stored property or documents. Such as the Treasury, later extended as the general name of the government. In order to strengthen the centralized rule, Zhu Yuanzhang of Ming Dynasty killed Hu Weiyong, the Prime Minister of Zuo, on the charge of plotting a coup in the early 1380, and took the opportunity to abolish Zhongshu province and the prime minister system. In 1382, Yu Hongwu changed the censor station set up in 1367, the first year of Wu Dynasty, to duchayuan. Together with Dali temple and the Ministry of punishment, it was called "sanfasi". The Ministry of criminal justice is under the name of the world's punishment, and Dali Temple refutes it. The capital inspection court is in charge of procurators, patrolling Fuzhou county's prison litigation, offering sacrifices and supervising the army. The department supervises impeachment and participates in the trial of major cases. It plays an important role in restraining turbidity and promoting the Qing Dynasty, and punishing and preventing corruption.

Duchayuan was the highest supervisory department in Ming Dynasty, which was in charge of supervising the censor. It was the second grade Yamen and was specially responsible for supervising the officials. Compared with the Yushitai in the Tang Dynasty, the duchayuan system replaced the three court system by the one court system, which simplified the organizational structure and highlighted the status of supervising the Yushitai. At the beginning of Ming Dynasty, it was set up to Shizhong along the former generation. In the sixth year of Hongwu (1408 AD), it was divided into six branches, namely, official, household, ritual, military, criminal, and engineering. Each branch was assigned to Shizhong, collectively referred to as "Liuke geishizhong". It assisted the emperor to deal with memorials, checked and refuted the violations of the six ministries, impeached officials, and supervised the officials of the six ministries. When Zhu Yuanzhang first set up geishizhong, he set the geishizhong government office in the East and West Court rooms of the Meridian Gate (the main gate of the Imperial Palace) to show his favor. All memorials have to go through their hands, so they are particularly powerful.

At the same time, in 1382, Zhu Yuanzhang formally set up the "Royal Guards" specialized in spy work, which was led by the emperor. Under the establishment of Wei and Suo, there are generals, strong men, school captains, and the torture agency Zhenfu department. Its function is to guard the emperor, master of ceremonies, scout, arrest those secret association activities, honorary officials and bureaucrats who rebel against the emperor, and put them into the "Heaven prison" and torture them.

According to the chronicles of Chinese history, in order to strengthen the royal power, in February of the first year of Jianwen (1399), Emperor Jianwen adopted the advice of Fang Xiaoru, a bachelor, and changed the official system: Six Shangshu were promoted to be the first grade, and left and right Shizhong were set up, ranking above Shilang. The imperial court was changed into Yushi's office, and Yushi was changed into Yushi's doctor. The twelve roads are the left and right courtyards, the left is the collection, and the right is the buque. The general secretary was changed into a temple and Dali temple into a secretary. Zhan Shifu set up an additional capital and morality hospital.

Shengdugeishizhong was regarded as the standard of seven grades, and six sections were changed from zuoyougeishizhong to zuoyougeishizhong. They were asked to give advice to the emperor, admonish the emperor, and restrain the emperor. (Zhao Shizhe: Annals of Jianwen, Volume 2) (Note: Zhu Yuanzhang made it in the 24th year of Hongwu. Each of the six branches was assigned to one member of Shizhong, which was the first eight grades; the left and the right were assigned to one member of Shizhong, which was the eighth grade.)

Connecting with history, the establishment of chutsao house in front of "juegang" is just like the establishment of "duchayuan" (Yushi house), "liukedugeishizhong" (liukedugeishizhong) and "Royal Guards" in front of the imperial court. It is the symbol of duchayuan (Yushi house), which is an important central institution to protect the imperial power and rule, in the name of Daojiao palace. It is a kind of ritual architecture that reflects the emperor's regulation of Zhan Biyun's tomb.
