Laodong Lake

Laodong lake is located in the northwest of Qiqihar city. It flows into Nenjiang River through Beimenkou, hujiapaozi, Xiushui Park, Xipo Park, bukui Park, Longsha Park, Nenjiang Park and sluice gate, with a total length of 7.5 km and a water area of 320 hectares. It used to be an ancient river. After the Nenjiang dam was built, it gradually became a lake in the city.

General situation

The water system of Laodong lake is a precious natural resource of Hecheng, with a total length of 7.5 kilometers and a water area of 320 hectares. Since 2000, Qiqihar Municipal government has invested 260 million yuan to complete the construction task of the first phase of Laodong lake water system project in three years, including bukui Park and Xipo Park, five squares and three sculptures. There are tens of thousands of lamps and facilities in the scenic area. Xiushui Park and Beihu park will be built in the second phase.

There are 44 employees in Laodong Lake scenic spot, who are mainly responsible for the order management, road management, greening maintenance, environmental health supervision and management, maintenance of lighting, guardrail, fountain and other equipment and facilities of the first phase project of Laodong Lake scenic spot and the surrounding environment management of the second phase project. During the peak tourist season, it receives nearly ten thousand tourists every day, and receives more than 100 Chinese and foreign groups in the whole year.

Laodong lake is a national 4A Water Conservancy Scenic spot. According to the statistics of the Management Office of Laodong Lake scenic spot, in summer, Laodong lake receives about 20000 tourists every day. Among them, the cultural square, wharf square and Tongniu square are built on the East sightseeing Road, and beer Square, pedal boat, electric boat and other projects are set up. It is the center of Laodong lake, and the number of tourists accounts for half of the total number.

The origin of the name

In the early days of the people's Republic of China, under the leadership of Wang Jinru, the then mayor, more than 100000 people took part in voluntary labor to clean up a section of river on the west side of Longsha Park, making it an artificial lake of about 20 hectares. The lake was formed by voluntary labor, so it was named Laodong lake. Later, people also used to call the 7.5 km long lake flowing through the city Laodong lake.

Huanhu University

Qiqihar University, with a history of more than 60 years, is the only provincial comprehensive key construction university in the western region of Heilongjiang Province, and is an excellent university for undergraduate teaching evaluation of the Ministry of education. Located on the Bank of Nenjiang River, the hometown of Red Crowned Crane, Qiqihar City, Heilongjiang Province, covers an area of 1359000 square meters and a construction area of 720000 square meters. It enjoys the reputation of "university around the lake". It has been awarded the titles of "Garden School" and "top ten harmonious campus" by the provincial Party committee and the provincial government. It is an "advanced unit of national spiritual civilization construction" and one of the top 10 universities in Heilongjiang Province It is one of the key universities.

South expansion plan

Phase I: from Tongjiang road to the north section of Xinli Street - Anshun road - Transportation Company - South section of Xinli Street - Datian group - crossing the river embankment into Nenjiang River, with a total length of 2.3 km, covering an area of 170000 square meters, with an average width of 70 meters and a maximum width of 250 meters. The total investment of the project is about 284 million yuan;

Phase II: from Wangjiang Road Heyi Street Qizhong CNC group Yongan Street Hecheng road Junjun 914 warehouse Xinli Street Aiguo Mingdi into Nenjiang River, with a total length of 8.2 km, covering an area of 500000 square meters, an average width of 100 meters and the widest part of 400 meters. The total investment of the project is more than 634 million yuan.
