Guangqin monk came to Taiwan in the 37th year of the Republic of China. He first practiced in Riyue cave, and later moved to Kaishan temple. Because he had converted to Chengtian temple, a famous temple in Jinjiang, Fujian Province, when he was a child, he named him with the same name to show his teacher's kindness.

Along the Chengtian Road, you can see the Chengtian temple with white walls and green tiles. There are many people who go to the mountain to worship Buddhism. After paying homage, you can stop here to enjoy the scenery of Taipei basin, Guanyin Mountain and Tanshui River.

Self driving:

1. National Road No. 3: go straight from Tucheng interchange to turntable line 3, and then turn right to Chengtian road to reach Chengtian temple.

2. You can get to Chengtian temple from the South Tianmushan trail through well 3 of qingshuikeng.

Public transport:

1. Bus: take bus 231, 233, 705 to Tucheng station, walk along the third section of Zhongyang Road and turn to Chengtian road to reach Chengtian temple.

2. MRT: take the MRT Bannan Line to Yongning station and walk to Chengtian temple at the exit of Chengtian road.
