Xiuzhuan town

Xiuzhuan Town, subordinate to Zhao'an County, Zhangzhou City, Fujian Province, is located in the northwest of Zhao'an County, bordering Jiufeng town of Pinghe County in the north, Raoping County of Guangdong Province in the west, guanpo town and Xiage town of this county in the southeast. It is a key town for Taiwan compatriots and a Provincial revolutionary base town. In 2017, the area was 138.07 square kilometers with a permanent population of 40875.

In 1951, it was divided into seven separate districts.

In 1959, it was renamed Xiuzhuan people's commune.
