Taroko archway

If you don't visit the Taroko Pavilion in Hualien, it's a pity. From Hualien along the No. 9 provincial road, through the new town to tailuge, from the East-West cross highway archway into, everywhere is beautiful scenery, Huadong longitudinal valley terrain, here to show! In addition to being amazing, we should not only praise and be grateful: those who developed this road should be able to understand the beauty and primitive of Taroko better! The whole Taroko National Park is most famous for its high mountains and canyons, especially Liwu Valley, which runs through the highway from Taroko to Tianxiang in the central part. The marble rocks are all on both sides, which shows that the development is very difficult! In terms of high mountains, there are 27 peaks in this area, including Albizia group peak, Nanhu mountain, central Jianshan mountain, Yangtou mountain, Bilu mountain and Qilian Mountain. Tailuge National Park was founded in November of the Republic of China. The whole park includes Hualian County, Nantou County and Taichung County. Tailuge gorge, Liwu River Basin and the east section of Zhongheng highway are the main parts of the park. It also covers Jianlian peak, Qilian peak, Hehuan mountain group, tailuge mountain, Qingshui cliff and sanchanxi River Basin in the middle of Nanhu lake. It starts from Qingshui in the East, ends at Hehuan West Peak in the west, reaches the main peak of qilai mountain in the South and Nanhu Dashan in the north, with a total area of 92000 hectares. Tailuge National Park is characterized by high mountains and valleys. From tailuge of Zhongheng highway to Liwu River Valley of Tianxiang, both sides of the park are composed of marble rocks, so it is called Marble Canyon. Most of the recreational resources in the National Park are distributed along the east section of Zhongheng highway, such as Changchun temple, tailuge gorge, Jiuqu cave, Tianxiang, Qingshui cliff of Suhua highway and baby Valley, which are famous scenic sites. Tailuge National Park has a vast area of virgin forest, and its ecological environment is also very complex. Because of the vast area of virgin forest, the park also has a lot of ecological resources. There are hundreds of animal ecology, such as salamander, Mohr's tree frog, Taiwan black bear, Taiwan macaque pig, Taiwan pangolin, mountain Qiang, water deer, long maned goat, spruce forest, Taiwan asparagus, fir forest and arrow forest Bamboo grassland, Yushan juniper and hemlock forest and other rare plants are the unique landscape of the park. In terms of cultural and historical sites, the Qilin cultural site at the entrance of the tailuge gorge, the liwuxi cliff ancient road, and the shangxiameiyuan Mountain Tribe are worth studying and preserving.
