Mount gambala

Gangbala mountain is located between Langka county and Gongga County in Shannan area of Tibet. The elevation of gangbala mountain pass is 4990 meters (you can see it from the mountain pass elevation Monument). After the airport road to Qushui County Branch Road, go along the gravel road, and then start to cross the gangbala mountain. When crossing the gangbala mountain, the road is very dangerous, with cliffs on one side and mountains on the other. Since the new road from Lhasa to Shigatse has been built, this road has rarely been used as a passenger line, and only a few tourist buses go there for tourists to watch the lake.

Standing on the gangbala mountain, you can enjoy the Yangzhuoyong Lake very well. Many Tibetan tourists go back to Lhasa after enjoying the Yanghu lake, and then take another road to Shigatse, because the whole road from here to Gyangze is gravel road, and most vehicles are reluctant to take this road, which causes great wear and tear to the vehicles.

The gangbala pass is 4990 meters above sea level. Like all the famous passes in Tibet, it has a huge manidui with overlapping Wind Horse flags (i.e. colored prayer flags) fluttering in the wind. This is the best place to overlook the lake: the top of the mountain is covered with clouds, casting huge irregular shadows on the lake. The blue sky contrasts with the lake. The pure water of the lake shows different shades of blue in the sun: light blue, dark blue, peacock blue, and some are green. The calm surface of the lake wrinkled small waves like fish scales, and the clear water was so deep that it took people's soul. In the small irregular farmland on the Bank of Hunan, the green is wheat, the golden is cauliflower, which adds to the beauty of the lake and the mountain. If you are lucky, after a light rain, you can even see a dark cloud, a rainbow and a splendid scene. Gangbala pass has a beautiful scenery, and the way down the mountain is full of dangers - cliffs on one side and mountains on the other. Along the rugged dirt road to turn round and round, straight bump you dizzy.
