Tianfei hometown Ruins Park

Tianfei hometown Heritage Park is located in the north of Meizhou Island, Xiuyu District, Putian City, adjacent to Mazu Temple scenic area. The park plans to build the hometown site area, ancestor worship area, cliff carving landscape area, auspicious culture area, folk custom area, etc. The park has built many landscape facilities, such as the grand memorial archway, the pangui Pavilion, the Ping'an tower and the Museum of Mazu culture. The Museum of Mazu culture has preserved many important cultural relics related to Mazu. The scenic spot integrates Mazu culture, natural landscape and garden art. Visitors can enjoy it as if they are in a huge palace of Humanities and art.

About the park

Located in Dongcai village, north of Meizhou Island, Xiuyu District, Putian City, the Tianfei's hometown Heritage Park contains ancient stone carvings of "Tianfei's hometown" and "Tianfei's ancestral trace, place name Shanglin". The former was inscribed by Ding Yizhong, Quanzhou Tongzhi in Ming Dynasty, with a history of more than 400 years.

Tianfei hometown Heritage Park is located in Dongcai village, Meizhou Island. To the northeast, you can see Mazu temple, about 2 kilometers away. To the north, you can see Meizhou Bay and Wenjia ferry pier. The park covers an area of 150 mu, including 280 meters from north to South and 530 meters from east to west, with a total investment of 58 million yuan. Construction officially started on November 1, 2010.

Tianfei's hometown ruins park covers an area of 136 mu. According to the characteristics of resources and scenery, it is divided into five functional areas: Hometown ruins, ancestor worship, cliff carving landscape, auspicious culture and folk customs. In addition to the construction of garden landscape, sketches and ancillary buildings, the main new single buildings in the park are pangui Pavilion, Mazu Ping'an tower, Southeast archway, Yuanliu hall, jade Pavilion, Guanyin hall, Lin ancestral hall, etc.

Mazu Origin Museum

Mazu Yuanliu museum is located in Shanglin natural village, Dongcai, Meizhou Island. It is one of the main buildings of Tianfei's hometown Heritage Park. It opened in January 2013. The museum fully restores and displays the original historical appearance of Mazu's birth on Meizhou Island. The museum has a preface hall and six theme exhibition halls. The themes of the six exhibition halls are "birth and good deeds", "saving the sea and ascending the sky", "miracles and commendation", "love between the two sides of the Strait", "Mazu Festival" and "Four Seas worship together". Through sound, light, electricity, multimedia and other high-tech means, the museum uses pictures, cultural relics, stone carvings, three-dimensional animation and other forms of expression to reproduce the imperial concubine's death We should have the characteristics of Mazu culture, experience the charm of Mazu culture, bathe in the spirit of Mazu, and cherish the memory of a saint through the ages.

Peace Tower

Ping'an tower, a pavilion type tower, is 48 meters high and has 9 floors, implying that Mazu is the goddess of heaven. The total investment is nearly 10 million yuan. It was completed in October 2012. Around the bottom of the pagoda are carved various scenes of Mazu folk customs in Meizhou Island, such as new year's greetings, sending off the favorable wind, opposite year's old age, making big year's old age, forbidding catching, hanging rice, carrying a stove on the nose, eating fried beans and old people, taking off straw sandals, making ten, women changing flowers, making red ball, raising tiger's eggs, eating longevity noodles and so on. There is a sightseeing elevator inside the tower, and you can also climb up the stairs built along the tower body to take a panoramic view of wanqingbibo and Meizhou holy land. Since ancient times, the pagoda has the meaning of exorcising evil spirits and praying for peace. Mazu Peace Pagoda carries people's good wishes and expects everyone to be safe and auspicious under the protection of Mazu!
