Sichuan Opera Art Gallery

Chengdu Sichuan Opera Art Museum, the first Sichuan Opera Museum in China, lifted the veil of mystery on December 28, 2001. The precious materials, photos and objects in the museum show the audience the historical evolution and artistic achievements of Sichuan Opera. Chengdu Sichuan Opera Art Museum is a new one based on Chengdu Sichuan Opera Art Gallery. The museum is composed of three branches: Li Yuan cluster brocade, Shu Qu Liufang and wonderful flowers. "Liyuan Jujin" mainly displays rich Sichuan Opera repertoire, exquisite stage performance, unique Sichuan Opera percussion music and gorgeous stage art. The exhibition hall, which contains props, costumes, masks and facial makeup, is the most abundant of the three. "Shu Qu Liufang" mainly shows the historical evolution and development of Sichuan Opera from the rudiments of the early Three Kingdoms to the early 1980s. "Wonderful and brilliant" introduces in detail the state's concern for the art of Sichuan Opera, the recovery of the art of Sichuan Opera and the prosperity of its creation and performance.
