Hequan lake ecological wetland ethnic tourism area is located 2 km northeast of Yongning County, Yinchuan City, 1.5 km east of the junction of national highway 109 and Guanhu Road, 18 km north of Yinchuan city and 2 km east of the Yellow River. The lake area is more than 3000 mu, and the water purification area is more than 400 mu. Hequan lake is sparkling, surrounded by reeds and beautiful scenery. The environment is quiet and elegant. It is said that a long time ago, a scholar from Shaanxi Province failed in the imperial examination. He was loved by a crane Fairy on his way here. The scholar was disillusioned with the world and determined to become a monk. He fairy had to leave in tears. He Xian's tears turned into six springs and formed Hequan lake.

Hequan lake is located in the arid desert area. It is said that the kind and beautiful Hexian is afraid of Qin Langsheng's long journey to become a monk. All the way thirsty, he specially makes six springs of dew to wait for Qin Lang's return. Hexian is waiting for Qin Lang to come back. Every year, he builds a nest in the reed marshes to wait for Qin Lang's return. Tourists looking for beautiful love always move their oars gently when they paddle in the lake. Be careful not to startle the cranes among the reeds.
