Former site of Helong headquarters

The former site of Helong headquarters was built in 1916. It was originally Hongdao middle school sponsored by the Chinese Anglican Church. The former site is composed of two three storey buildings. The main building along the street is an auditorium for church worship and ritual activities, as well as a school classroom. The latter is the residence of pastor and headmaster (now called Helong building).

During the Nanchang Uprising in 1927, the headquarters of the 20th army of the National Revolutionary Army led by Comrade He Long was located here.
