To the east of Nanshan scenic spot, Huangshan scenic spot is a quiet place, but there are more than ten well preserved Chinese and Western official residences and villas, such as Yunxiu building (Chiang Kai Shek's official residence), Songting (Song Meiling's villa), Songlai Pavilion (Song Qingling's former residence), caoting (General Marshall's villa), etc., which were built in the 1930s and 1940s and opened to the public at the end of 2004. Therefore, this is not a simple Museum, but the largest and best preserved site group in Chongqing during the period of being the capital of Chongqing.
If you want to know the daily life of the national leaders during the Anti Japanese War, it is most appropriate to come here for a turn. However, the signboards in the mountains are clear and you can walk along them.
