The National Heritage Park of Luoyang City in Sui and Tang Dynasties covers an area of 145 mu. Mingtang scenic area is the first phase of the National Heritage Park of Luoyang City in Sui and Tang Dynasties. It used to be the core area of Luoyang City in Sui, Tang and Northern Song dynasties. It was also the place where political, economic and cultural activities took place and the material witness. It was an important proof of Luoyang history and the culture of Central Plains in Sui and Tang Dynasties. There are three main sites in the park: Daye hall site of Sui Dynasty, Mingtang heaven site of Tang Dynasty and Taiji hall site of Song Dynasty.
