Huimin Bridge

Huimin bridge is located about 500 meters southeast of Huishui county. It was built in 1946 and crosses the Lianjiang River

. Standing on the stone bank of the bridge, the monument tower bears the name of the bridge inscribed by Chiang Kai Shek and the inscription made by Yang Sen, then chairman of Guizhou Province, making Huimin bridge a major tourist attraction here. Huimin bridge is 100 meters long, 11 meters high and 6.5 meters wide. It is a five hole stone arch bridge with stone barriers on both sides of the bridge. It is the throat of national highway 320 from Huishui to Duyun, Dushan, Pingtang and other places. It is also the main channel from the county to the villages in the east of the county.

When the bridge was completed, Chen HuiFu said that "the bridge was built for the benefit of the people, and the strength came from the people". He also said that the bridge was meant to benefit the people, so he named it "Huimin bridge" and wrote a letter to Jiang Jieshi. Please write the name of the bridge and Jing YANGSEN wrote a preface.

After the completion of Huimin bridge, another house was built on the west side of the bridge, covering an area of about 100 square meters. It is called "Huimin hall" and is a place for tourists to rest. There is a monument on the left side of the bridge. The name and preface of the bridge are engraved on the monument to remember. The lower part of the stele tower is a three-step stone step, and the middle part is made up of four steles about 1.2 meters high and 0.6 meters wide. On the stele cap, there are four inclined sides. In the center of the hat top is a gourd shaped stone top, and the whole stele tower is nearly 4 meters high. The name of the bridge (Huimin bridge) is inscribed on the front stone tablet, which is inscribed with "Jiang Zhongzheng's title". On the left and right steles are engraved the preface made by Chen HuiFu of Yang Sen. on the back steles are engraved the general situation of bridge construction and the list of persons who have contributed to the bridge construction and the happy donors.
