It was originally established for planting sugarcane seedlings to test and improve them for reproduction. Xinshe Huahai is located in the Xinshe river terrace group of Danan river terrace. During the Japanese occupation period, it was mainly planted with sugarcane. Relying on the interception of water from daliangjia River in bailingzhen for irrigation, it created the Huahai nursery in Danan area.

Development status

In 2005, the second nursery was selected for large-scale planting, and 30 hectares of 60 hectares were set aside for planting flower sea. The flowers planted in the nursery include lavender, sage, cosmos, sunflower, Salvia splendens, drunken butterfly flower, four seasons Begonia, etc. so far, the "Xinshe flower sea Festival" has attracted tourists from inside and outside the island.
