Senggreeqin Temple
Senggreeqin ancestral hall is at 47 Kuan street, Dongcheng. Also known as Xianzhong temple. The ancestral hall faces south. It consists of Yimen, Xiangdian and Peidian.
There are three instrument doors. Five East and five West rooms. There is a stele Pavilion in front of the second gate. There is a stone tablet in the pavilion, which is more than 4 meters high. The Yang of the stele is Manchu, the Yin of the stele is wordless, and a dragon is carved on the side of the stele. Two doors and one room. During the period of the Republic of China, it was built as huaiyou primary school, later renamed progressive primary school, and now it is Kuanjie primary school. The main buildings of the ancestral hall are well preserved and are the key cultural relics protection units in Dongcheng District. Senggreeqin (? 1865), surnamed borzijit, was born in the left wing rear banner of Horqin, Mongolia. In 1834, he was granted the former royal minister and led the Minister of bodyguard. He was killed by the rebels during the crackdown. During the reign of Emperor Guangxu, a special temple was set up for him.
