Mount laer

Laer mountain is a remote mountain Miao Township in the northwest of Fenghuang County in Western Hunan. It takes 2 hours to drive from Fenghuang ancient city. This is the core hinterland of Miao people's living in the past dynasties. It is a large and stable residence for Miao people.

At the same time, laer mountain is also a treasure place for Miao people's sightseeing, with unique Miao stilts and zigzag stone roads. The second, seventh, twelfth, seventeenth, 22nd and 27th day of each lunar month is the fixed time for laershan town to go to the market.

On the day of the fair, the streets will be full of local specialties such as Boletus, bacon, sour fish, vegetable tofu, Baogu Shaojiu, and the roads will be crowded with Miao people in full dress.
