Qinghai Road is in the east of Jing'an District of Shanghai. It is 237m long and 12.39-12.50m wide. The width of roadway is 8.32 ~ 8.50m. Asphalt concrete pavement. It was built in 1930.

In the east of Jing'an District. It starts from Nanjing West Road in the north and ends at Shanghai Marine Diesel Engine Research Institute, Lane 105, Qinghai Road in the south. It is 237m long and 12.39-12.50m wide. The width of roadway is 8.32 ~ 8.50m. Asphalt concrete pavement.

It was built in 1930. According to the map of Beishi in Shanghai in the third year of the Republic of China, the road has been formed, but its name has not been marked. In 1922, the English version of the map of Shanghai has been published, the English road name is CHINHAI Road (another English road name is Tsinghai Road).

The houses on the east side of the road are old style lane houses, while the houses on the west side are new style lane houses. The road is narrow in the South and Shanghai TV station in the East. The north section is the comprehensive market of Qinghai Road, with Qinghai comprehensive store, commodity Department of Asia Travel Agency and sales department of Yuanhang knitting factory. By the entrance of Nanjing West Road, there are food, fruit and other commercial outlets and outpatient department of Yueyang Hospital. The roadside is planted with Platanus acerifolia.
