Wangshuiquan

Wangshui spring is located in Wanzhu garden of Baotu Spring Park. The stele of famous spring in Jin Dynasty and the poem of 72 Famous Springs in Ming Dynasty are all included. The spring pool is 20 meters long, 9.8 meters wide and 2.2 meters deep. A three hole stone bridge is built in the middle. A colorful Pavilion is built in the south of the bridge, and a hall is connected in the north. On the North Bank of the west side of the bridge, a stone carving named "wangshuiquan" (1910) is embedded in the wall of the pool. The buildings around the pool are scattered, and the bamboo trees become forests.

"My family looks at the house beside the water spring. It used to be a bamboo grove in Pingquan. A few lack of soil, under the trees, in the cauliflower of half a hut. " This is a poem by Wang Ping, a poet of the Qing Dynasty, about the 24 springs thatched cottage in wanzhuyuan.

The wangshui spring is located in the West courtyard of Wanzhu garden. Yan Bi, a poet of Ming Dynasty, thinks that the spring is connected with Dengzhou spring not far from the garden, so there is a poem: "the scenery of Wanzhu garden is very interesting, the double springs are connected with Dengzhou, the Biwu is hundreds of feet, the Danfeng is perched, the snow is thousands of piles, the white gull is played."

Wanzhuyuan has a long history and was built in Yuan Dynasty. At that time, ten thousand bamboo garden bamboo forest, ten thousand trees verdant, springs burst, streams crisscross, like a paradise. In Liaozhaizhiyi written by Pu Songling, a great writer, Yin Tianguan's Fox married woman is described here. In the early years of the Republic of China, a stone bridge was built in the north and south, and a pavilion was set in the south of the bridge.

Yin Shidan, the prime minister in the Longqing period of the Ming Dynasty, returned to his hometown and lived in wanzhuyuan, which was renamed "Tongyuan". In the Qing Dynasty, wanzhuyuan was owned by Wang Ping, a poet. He built a book house beside wangshuiquan. Because wangshuiquan ranked the 24th among the 72 springs in Jinan in the famous spring stele established in the Jin Dynasty, his book house was named "24 springs thatched cottage" and his poem was titled "24 springs thatched cottage collection".
