Bosaja Temple
Located in Lijiang City, zhebosaga temple covers an area of 200 mu, with magnificent buildings, 300 lamas and more than 500 actual lamas.
Posaja temple is located at the foot of the Golmud mountain, covering an area of 200 mu. The building is magnificent, with a fixed number of 300 lamas and an actual number of more than 500 lamas.
The Sakya sect was introduced into Yongning in the late Song Dynasty and early Yuan Dynasty. In the 18th year of the Yuan Dynasty, the Sakya temple was established in zhebo and rebuilt in 1875. During the yuan and Ming Dynasties, the Sakya sect played a major role in the Pumi ethnic group of Mosuo people in Yongning. Sakya sect, also known as Huajiao, has painted red, white and gray on the walls of its temples. After the establishment of bosaja temple, there was an endless stream of worshippers worshiping incense.
The bosaja temple was destroyed during the "Cultural Revolution" and only remains. Today's temple was rebuilt in 1983.
