Layout of Memorial Hall

The memorial hall is divided into five parts, namely, the hall of looking forward to you Jun, the hall of your footprints, the hall of you Jun's hometown, the hall of remembering you Jun and the hall of receiving you Jun. In the hall of admiration are placed the bust of the martyr and the inscription of Comrade Zhu De: "martyr Ding Youjun is a good son and daughter of the party and the people, and a good example for members of the Communist Youth League and youth. Chinese youth should learn from her high class consciousness and revolutionary spirit of dedicating everything to the party and the people. ". "Youjun footprints" Hall mainly displays the daily necessities used by the martyrs, letters, learning situation, articles and pictures of the martyrs' life. The memorial hall mainly displays inscriptions and paintings of celebrities presented by Xichang and other places. The reception hall has built-in TV, DVD, stereo and sofa for visitors to watch the audio-visual materials of martyr Ding Youjun.

Life of the characters

Ding Youjun (1931.9.27 ～ 1950.9.19), female, also known as Ding Yizhi, was born in wayaotuo village, Wutongqiao, Leshan City, Sichuan Province. Born into a salt merchant's family. Because of the influence of the poor nanny, he sympathized with the laborers and had a sense of justice.

In 1948, he studied in Chengdu women's high school. Inspired by the victory of the liberation war, he actively participated in the student Patriotic Movement under the leadership of the party. After the liberation of Chengdu, comrade Youjun was determined to devote himself to the revolution and was admitted to Xikang people's revolutionary University. Under the direct training and education of the party, she made rapid progress. Because of her hard work, she was rated as a model and joined the New Democratic Youth League of China with honor. After graduation, comrade Youjun served as the military representative of Xichang women's middle school.

He joined the New Democratic Youth League (now the Communist Youth League of China) on April 29, 1950.

On September 18, 1950, comrade Youjun was besieged and killed by rioters in the work of collecting grain in Yanzhong District of Xichang. He was nineteen when he died. In the face of the enemy, comrade Youjun refused all kinds of threats and inducements from bandits. Although he was humiliated and tortured in every way, he never forgot the party's education and showed the noble quality of Youth League members' loyalty and unyielding for the revolutionary cause. When the enemy threatened death, she firmly said, "fear death, not revolution, revolution, not death!" "Long live the Communist Party of China!"
