The ancestral hall of Prime Minister Wen in Beijing is the place where Wen Tianxiang, a national hero of the Southern Song Dynasty, was imprisoned and killed. In 1376, the ancestral hall was built in the ninth year of Hongwu in Ming Dynasty, with the existing gate, front hall and back hall. The ancestral hall sits in the south, which is composed of three parts: the gate, the hall and the hall, covering an area of nearly 600 square meters. Some precious cultural relics of the original ancestral hall are preserved in the hall. In the past 20 years, Wen Tianxiang temple has received more than 200000 Chinese and foreign tourists.
