Hangzhou Lin'an stone Great Wall scenic spot, known as Jiangnan stone treasure village, is located in the west of Lin'an, 130 kilometers away from Hangzhou. It is a pearl on the golden tourist line of Huangshan Mountain in Hangzhou.

Scenery Legend

Shichangcheng scenic spot is located in Qingliangfeng National Nature Reserve. The scenic spot has natural peaks, picturesque ancient trees, gates to the sky, and clear streams. In ancient times, there were "ten sceneries of TangChang". Now, it is proud of the "five wonders of East China". The natural stone Great Wall runs like a rainbow and stretches for hundreds of miles. Due to the long-term cutting of water flow, there are many gaps in the stone Great Wall, forming a series of stone gates with different styles. There are 27 stone gates in the scenic area, among which the most amazing one is the small stone gate. The gate distance is less than 7 meters, but the height is up to 100 meters, "the first gate in the world". It is said that Chen fengshu, a local scholar, once built a thatched cottage in Xianfeng, xiaoshimen, and named it "pangtianju". He studied hard here every day and finally got the entrance examination of Gongsheng. Shimen, the stone great wall and the surrounding mountains form a whole, surrounded by several villages, becoming a natural stone city.

The unique geology has created conditions for the formation of the cave. The dashuikeng cave in the scenic area is more than 1000 meters long. There is an underground river in the cave with flowing water. The mysterious scenic area has many cliffs, which creates favorable conditions for the formation of the waterfall. There are 19 waterfalls in the panoramic area, and the highest single-stage waterfall is more than 100 meters. Eighteen Longtan, which originated from the top of Qingliang peak, is a multistage waterfall with a total height of 300 meters. It falls from the cliff in 18 steps. There is a waterfall and a pond. The diameter of the mouth of the pond is only a few meters, but the depth of the pond is unfathomable, ranging from 5 to 6 meters for shallow water and more than 20 meters for deep water. As it is located in the National Nature Reserve, with excellent vegetation, there are more than 30000 mu of virgin forest. There are many kinds of trees with big crown. Pinus taiwanensis is not only numerous, but also graceful and peculiar. There are more than 400 ancient and famous trees in the scenic area, which are generally over 200 years old, up to 800 years old. It is a paradise for wild animals with deep valley and dense forest. There are more than 10 species of first-class national protected animals such as sika deer and muntjac, and more than 30 species of second-class national protected animals such as Sumen antelope and giant salamander. Macaques, which are very popular, often appear in various scenic spots, or on the stone walls, or among the branches of trees, playing with tourists. The scenic spot has a very unique microclimate, especially in winter when the temperature is mostly below - 10 ℃. The cliffs are covered with ice ridges everywhere, and even the cascades are covered with a thick ice shell. Such "northern scenery" is rare in the south of the Yangtze River.

It's only 35 minutes' drive from Hangzhou West bus station to Jincheng Town, where Lin'an municipal government is located. There is a direct air-conditioned bus. Hangzhou West bus station is located at 112 Xixi road. Take No.49 bus from Hangzhou railway station to the West bus station.
