Yuanying view

Yuanyingguan scenic spot is the main scenic spot of xibulou scenic spot. From the north-south axis, it can be divided into three sections: South, North and middle. In the past, it was a place for Xiangfei's life and entertainment favored by Emperor Qianlong.

The interior furnishings of Yuanying temple are also very luxurious. In the hall, there is a Western lace glass heart plaque written by Emperor Qianlong in May 1781. There is also a couplet on both sides of the plaque. Yuanyingguan hall has a large number of Western figures and landscape paintings, with a total area of more than 200 square meters. Yuanyingguan once served as Rong Fei's bedroom during the reign of Emperor Qianlong. In order to win Rong Fei's favor, Emperor Qianlong specially made western furniture such as gold-plated copper bed and bathtub according to Rong Fei's figure. There are also Western toys and art treasures of gold, silver and enamel everywhere in Yuanying temple. Even the Turkish tapestry given by the king of France and the astrolabe given by King George III to Emperor Qianlong are also displayed in the hall.

Water law

Dashuifa is a group of fountains with a stone niche as the background. In the oval chrysanthemum style fountain, there is a "hound chasing deer" fountain, and there are 13 level water spray towers in front of the left and right, which are magnificent when they open together. In the south, facing north, there was a throne and a stone carving screen for the emperor to watch the fountain, which was called water watching method. These two scenes were built around 1759 (the 24th year of Qianlong). On the north side of Dashuifa, Yuanying temple, a high Western bell tower style hall, was built in 1783 (the 48th year of Emperor Qianlong). Its doors and windows are all inlaid with glass, a total of 1206 pieces. More than ten large stone pillars of Yuanying temple are all high-quality white marble, especially the huge white marble pillars on both sides of Zhongquan. The capitals and bodies of the pillars are full of drooping grape patterns. The carving is excellent, and the branches and leaves are lively, which is really a treasure of art.

Water watching law

The water watching method is located at the south end of yuanyingguan, the Western Tower of Yuanmingyuan. It is the place where Emperor Qianlong of Qing Dynasty watched the water spraying scenery. It includes the platform on which the emperor's throne is placed, the stone screen behind the throne and the Baroque stone doors on both sides. In 1860, Xianfeng was destroyed by British and French forces. After the second year of Xuantong (1910), the remaining carved stone heart of shipingfeng was transported to Langrun garden by Zai Tao and returned to its original place in 1977.
