Zhongguyan

Zhongguyan, formerly known as Cuiping mountain, is a limestone karst. Zhongguyan is located 27 kilometers away from beixiongyu highway in Nanxiong City, Guangdong Province, facing Meiling. It is one of the scenic spots of Meiling.

Zhongguyan is located 27 kilometers north of Nanxiong City. It was originally called Cuiping mountain. There are two stones in it. One is the sound of a bell while the other is the sound of a drum.

Facing Meiling, zhongguyan is the only place to pass the ancient Meiling road. It has a long history of development. Inside and outside the cave, there are precious poems written by celebrities of past dynasties.

There are three characters "Wanfu cave" on the stone wall of the rock, which is inscribed with "Lu Yan of the Tang Dynasty" (i.e. LV Dongbin). Su Shi, a great writer of the Northern Song Dynasty, was demoted to Lingnan. After he was pardoned, he went back to the north and passed by. He inscribed "Zhuxian cave" for Baxian cave. Zhongguyan not only has a unique landscape inside the cave, but also has a strange shape of rocks outside. There are six pavilions: Fu Mei Pavilion, Yi Cui Pavilion, Ying Xi Pavilion, Gong Bei Pavilion, Kongtong Pavilion and Mei Pavilion. Under the rock is the "Dongzhen Temple", with statues of Chen Qi and Zheng Lun on both sides of the temple, and then the statue of Laozi, jade emperor hall, LV Chunyang hall, Sanqing hall, etc.
