Jinhai Wetland Park

Jinhai Wetland Park is located in the southwest of Caolu Town, the east side of Pudong New Area outer ring road (S20), the west side of Mintang road and the south side of Jinhai Road. The south side of Jinhai Wetland Park is connected with the built 400 meter forest belt, with a width of 150-500 meters from East to west, a total length of 1.85 km from south to north, and a total area of 43.38 hectares.

The park was designed in 2005, relocated in 2006 and constructed in 2007. So far, the first phase of the park has been completed and opened to the public.

Introduction to scenic spots

The wetland park is located at the lower turn of Jinhai Road in Pudong section of the outer ring road (G20), near the second Industrial University of Shanghai. It is a supporting green belt corridor for the construction of the outer ring road, which was previously closed. Wetland park area is not small, of which lakes, rivers account for about one third of the whole area, Lake reed, lotus and other aquatic plants flourish. As the park is located in a remote area, few people know about it. Except for some fishing enthusiasts, only nearby residents come in the early morning.
