Location: Baiyang Lake, formerly known as Jiuyang lake, is located in the southwest of Minghe, Guanhaiwei town.

Introduction to geography

To the west of du Lake is Baiyang Lake, which was formed during the Han Dynasty. Different from du Lake, it only covers an area of 1700 mu, but it is surrounded by mountains on three sides and is narrow, long and circuitous. If du Lake is compared to a lady of a big family, Baiyang Lake looks like a graceful peasant girl. She is beautiful, quiet, pleasing to the eyes and can't bear to leave.

Historical site

The attraction of Baiyang Lake lies mainly in its rich historical and cultural relics; the large-scale revolutionary martyrs cemetery at the foot of the mountain in the west of Lake buries nearly 100 martyrs, such as Zheng xiahu, organization director of Cixi County Party committee, Shen Bangqi, special commissioner of Ning shaotai Agricultural Association, and Shen Yifei. Across the lake from the martyrs' cemetery is the tomb of Mr. Wu Jintang, a well-known patriotic overseas Chinese businessman in modern times. Facing south, there is a biography of Mr. Wu Gong and a couplet written by himself: "you can bury your bones for the love of Hu mountain, regardless of geomantic omen, only by heart", from which you can see Mr. Wu's ardent love for his native land and his noble feelings. His parents in his hometown praised him: "it's worthy to have the enthusiasm to help the world, to push food and clothes We should strive for overseas business, bear hardships, and be proud of contemporary people. " In order to express their yearning, the villagers set up a bronze statue in the palace of puchong temple.
