Tai Fu Di, San Tin, Yuen Long

Xintian dafudi, Xintian Township, Northwest New Territories, is a place where the surname Wen lives together. The village has been built for hundreds of years. The earliest villagers of dafudi in Xintian, whose ancestral home is Sichuan, immigrated to Jiangxi in the Southern Song Dynasty. Their descendants went south to Guangdong and settled in Xintian. There are many middle-aged buildings in Xintian township. Among the ancestral halls, Qifeng Wengong temple and dafudi are listed as historic sites by the authorities. After the renovation, the public can visit them freely. The rich family mansion and the ancient ancestral temple just provide material evidence for the root searchers.
