Neijiang Park

Neijiang park is located at 261 Kongjiang Road, Changbai Xincun street, Yangpu District, Shanghai. The original orchard nursery was rebuilt in 1983 and opened on October 1, 1984, covering an area of 1.55 hectares.

Park environment

The garden layout of Neijiang Park imitates the "ancient garden", with double garden doors and two courtyards. The outer courtyard has white walls with soap tiles, square brick floors, flower windows, palace lanterns and stone bonsai. The inner courtyard is overgrown with banana trees, and the walls are covered with fiber branches.

The park is close to the public housing area in the southeast, Neijiang road in the West and Kongjiang Road in the north. There is an 800 square meter lotus pool in the East, rose garden in the south, wisteria corridor in the north, children's paradise in the southwest corner of the park, and a teahouse in the southwest. All the roads in the park are paved with stones, which is the only park in Yangpu District that doesn't need cement. There are 53 species of trees and shrubs, including loquat, Cinnamomum camphora, Longbai, Podocarpus arvensis, Magnolia, Rhododendron, pomegranate, red maple, red leaf plum, Begonia, peach blossom, Cryptomeria fortunei, Huangxin, Photinia and Qingfeng, with a total of 2148 plants, and more than 100 clumps of Zizhu and cixiaozhu

The lake in the garden is narrow in the South and wide in the north. The long corridor round Pavilion on the lakeside is elegant and simple, with light curved bridges. The "Mingxiang Pavilion" is built on the lakeside. The loquat garden in the southwest corner faces each other, with curved corridors connected. The loquat blossoms in winter and is full of spring. Chen Congzhou, a former professor of Tongji University, wrote the title "forgetting the cold residence". Pine, cypress and bamboo are planted in the garden, symbolizing the health and longevity of the elderly. It is the only antique garden in Eastern Shanghai.
