Phonographen Museum

The phonograph museum is a small museum located in caodui street, Macao Special Administrative Region. The first floor is dominated by electric audio equipment, and the attic is a collection of ancient manual audio equipment. Antiques are collected from all over the world. Some antiques can be operated manually without any power or light source. More than 200 exhibits witness the development history of audio equipment from manual to electric power.

Phonographen Museum

The phonograph Museum, located at 33 Stalin Road, taiyanggou, Lushunkou District, Dalian, is set up by Mr. Wang Xinwei's Xiangyun company. Curator Wang devoted his whole life to the collection and research of gramophone. He made the collection of gramophone available to the public for many years, and made the history of the development of gramophone and sound equipment all the same.

Collection

The exhibit is a collection of ancient manual audio equipment. Most antiques can also be operated manually without any power or light source. More than 25000 pieces of exhibits, including: the first generation of cylinder type phonograph, wax cylinder phonograph, shellac record phonograph, cabinet type, pedestal type, portable and other kinds of phonograph more than 500 sets. There are also hand-held super large organ, hand-held stereo music cabinet, octave cabinet, hand-held old telephone, vacuum tube radio, and more than 20000 old records of all ages at home and abroad. Especially all kinds of old Chinese opera records. All kinds of pop songs and other old records in the 1930s are on display in the museum. The exhibits witness the audio equipment moving from manual to electric power. At the same time, they also show the phonograph and all kinds of audio equipment made in LvDa during the Japanese and Russian colonial period, as well as the human history related to phonograph and old records. It shows the achievements in this scientific field before and after the liberation of LvDa region, and witnesses the development history of national industry in the fields of phonograph and sound equipment for more than 100 years.
