Zhanhe Park, 6 km long, is located on both banks of Zhanhe River in the middle of the city. It extends to Guangming Road and Bridge in the West and Xinhua Road and Bridge in the East. It is 240 meters wide from north to South (80 meters wide on the water surface) and covers a total area of 72 hectares (24 hectares). In September 1984, it was built from the original shelterbelt. It is an open park. Tourists can go in and out freely.

Main attractions

Zhanhe park is one of the three natural scenic resources in Pingdingshan City. The park uses water surface to carry out water activities such as swimming and boating, forming a dynamic area; the bank is a quiet area for rest, which is static and dynamic, and has developed into a water park. There are five bridges on the three kilometer river bank, which closely link the two sides of the park; Zhongxing Road and Zhanhe divide the park into four tourist areas according to local conditions, including spring, summer, autumn and winter parks, which are arranged according to the four seasons scenery. There are beach beach and rainbow bridge in the west, Riverside Park and Fengchun garden in the park in the south. Each community has its own main scenery and characteristics, namely: Spring Garden (South Bank of Zhanhe, west of Zhongxing Road), summer garden (South Bank of Zhanhe, east of Zhongxing Road), autumn garden (North Bank of Zhanhe, west of Zhongxing Road), winter garden (North Bank of Zhanhe, east of Zhongxing Road). The garden is separated by forest belts, and the garden is arranged according to the four seasons. With the reasonable embellishment of pavilions, it has become an elegant and simple paradise. At the bridgehead of Kaiyuan Road, there is a geologist's Monument and a large-scale sculpture inscribed by Comrade Jiang Zemin.
