Development history

The post industrial ecological landscape park (steel carving Park) is located in the "Shanghai international energy conservation and environmental protection park" at 101 Changjiang West Road, Baoshan District. The total area is 53000 square meters. The design makes full use of the historic industrial elements such as the abandoned plant, dust removal tower, warehouse and storage yard in the site, and tries to reflect the historical context, so as to explore a new mode of building parks on the old industrial base.

It used to be a Shanghai ferroalloy factory. The pollution was so serious that the government used its original resources to rebuild it into a park.

Main attractions

The park is composed of entrance landscape area - Urban Avenue, lawn area, original industrial vegetation protection area, children's activity area, park management center area, lawn Avenue and core landscape area - Central waterscape area, water plant purification area, garden display area, etc. it is equipped with rest facilities such as teahouse, gabion wall, mountain bike path, skateboard, sand pit, trampoline, climbing and grass slope slide And other sports facilities. Plant landscaping mainly uses local, drought resistant, energy and other thematic plants, and combines with abandoned industrial building materials and sculptures to form landscape diversity. Different types of spaces are enclosed by trees with different density to create landscape nodes.
