Paolu, located at 211 Ganquan Road, Yangzhou City, was built by Lu Dianhu, general manager of Zhenyang automobile company in the early years of the Republic of China. It was built by Yu Jizhi, a famous contemporary gardener in Yangzhou.

The garden is famous for its unique horizontal length. It has a unique cave. It enters from a narrow lane and is divided into two small courtyards. It is shaped like a gourd, so it is called "Paolu". Both sides of the narrow lane are residential buildings. At the end of the south end of the narrow lane, it passes through the octagonal gate, which is divided into East and West courtyards. The gate of the east courtyard is round and inlaid with "Paolu" stone. The east courtyard is connected by the corridors, and the southern side of the Wutong tree is thin and long, like bamboo grope, and has a clear and clear posture. Through the cloister to half Pavilion, pavilion fence facing water, pool water from this north turn, pool end, there are three porches, pool flower bed on the number of peak stone, path with cobblestone paving. At this point, although the tourists are exhausted, they can reach the western part of the garden with a turn of the road, either climbing the Banting in the east or going to the Yuanchi in the West. A flower hall is built in the garden, and the garden is divided into North and south parts. In the north, Huangshi is used to build flower beds and plant trees. Although the area of Paolu is small, it is euphemistic and compact, which is a good example of using irregular space to design. Paolu is well preserved and was designated as a municipal cultural relic protection unit in 1962. Now it is occupied by Yangzhou cultural relics research office.
